A	Anna Boer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update Jan 2022 Still my favorite pizza place! Everybody is friendly and helpful and the pizza's are even more delicious if that's even possible. I prefer pick up, because sometimes they get very busy and you can wait up to 2 hours for delivery. Worth the wait, but not always an option(small children). If you call, your order is done in 20 min!! I've been here several times to pick up my pizza's as I am a great fan of Papa John's. Last time I was here was last Friday and all I can say is my compliments to the hard working and lovely staff. They are all so kind and willing to help.

Now wait for another 30 minutes and call the Diemen branch for an update and they respond with a ridiculous attitude. Never going order again for their rude and pathetic service.

Tomorrow, I will find the maneger and ask the money I paid to them. And we are gonna order from somewhere else. Waited for nothing. NOT A RELIABLE COMPANY !

When I called the restaurant and asked the lady if the pizza is on the way, she said something like "maybe next time you should start off a call by saying good evening and your address instead of saying "where is my pizza". What a joke. Do not order anything from this place.
M	Martine D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi. I was a frequent customer in 2018. I returned in 2021 to check up on this location and review the food and the service. I ordered: tuscan 6 cheese and the works, both large, authentic thin. Papa John's is a bit on the above-average expensive side, and for that, one expects a bit more quality. That was true back in the day, though not so much with this particular delivery. The Tuscan 6 cheese was all right (3/5), though somewhat expensive for what I got. For The Works, I found myself forcing eating it (since I already go it). I think that was about too few ingredients; it felt like mostly the dough, some processed meat, and not much more (2/5). Imo, both were overpriced for that kind of quality. This was an order & delivery. This location at Diemen and I aren't in the same part of the city; we are about 5 km apart by bicycle/walking. I've placed my order in the morning, and received an expected time for delivery. Well, it was 1h20m late, and the pizzas were dead cold. I would argue that a walking person could make the distance in 1h, so something went wrong. I don't mind the reason, but I think it's reasonable to receive a good estimate at a distance of 5 km. All in all, in my view, this place downgraded significantly since 2018. The food is 2/5 (due to the poor value for the price), and the service was also 2/5 on this one. I will keep it at 2/5 overall.
D	Dan Whittal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutley the worst pizza I have had from Papa John's ever. Pizza has taken nearly two hours to arrive twice and was stone cold each time. When calling to ask where my pizza was, after waiting an hour and fifty minutes, the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and told me I should "order from another establishment" if I didn't like to wait. Order better, and warmer, pizza elsewhere.

We usually order from the website because it has nice discounts and promotions, and free delivery too!
