#1 website in NL to rent (out) an apartment.

Today while I was trying to sleep my baby, who was crying,as of course all the normal babies do in their age, one of your agents started ringing my bell nervously and unstoppable to tell my husband that he was trying to rent a house and it was seemed too noisy for the renters. Next time that something so intimidating and intrusive of our privacy will happen I will report you to the justice due to unacceptable and unhuman behaviour.

Good place to look for apartments in complicated Amsterdam rental space. Definitely a better search option than others available, so far. Would be great if the advertisers/agents are asked to pull-out ads as soon as an apartment is rented. Have seen quite a few where ads are retained and then a more expensive one is shared by the agent over email. Also advertisers/agents should be compelled to add actual rent rather than a lower one just to get through filters and then adding additional costs in description. It’s misleading and affects trust. Finally the search filters need some bug fixing e.g. price filter disappears when additional filters are added in ‘more’ section. Of course price filter can be added again but it’s annoying when doing it over and over again.

Very unsatisfying services offered to students. I got no replies to some to my enquirers about some of their adverts and when I actually called them to avoid all the mambo jumbo that e-mails create they said they haven't got the slightest idea or information about accommodation offers presented on their own website. The university recommended Pararius on multiple occasions on student housing help pages but I barely received any services and the communication with the company or the landlords is appalling.

I knew the housing situation in Amsterdam was dire, but on top of that this website has just been wasting my time. I've been trying to contact landlord after landlord through it for literally months and haven't got a single reply, nor any viewing confirmations (you might as well delete that button, since it does literally nothing). What exactly is the point of your service?

Pararius is a great platform to find accommodation in Amsterdam, however they should check better which Agencies they allow to advertise on it, I have had a bad experience with Michiel Stolker Real Estate, and I advice anyone looking for accommodation to not rent with them. They treat you well until you pay and then they will tell you to solve your issues yourself. Worse agency ever.

I have nothing but praise for team parariusoffice. they think along with you giving advice. they work super fast to make sure that you as an entrepreneur get everything you need to be able to do your business successfully. not only do you build a good business relationship with them, but where it gets to a point where we call each other by our first name. Do not rent with Top Select Visit or Top Select Housing! I live in Amsterdam, and my mother (who lives in the US) and I had a horrible experience with this company. My mother had arranged a short-term rental starting in September 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 travel ban between the US and Europe, she was not able to travel. She started contacting the company in July 2020 to find out what the cancellation policy was and if she could get her deposit back (2500 Euros) if the travel ban was not lifted. It took the company almost a month to respond to my mother that she could not get her deposit back because she was cancelling less than 60 days in advance, but she could use the deposit on another rental in the future. The option to use the deposit on another apartment in 2021 is recorded in email. (Although I was aware that this was going on, I did not know the name of the company or anything about the apartment she had rented.) Now that travel between the US and Europe is starting to be allowed again, my mom has planned another trip. I was looking for an apartment for her to stay in and found one that happened to be managed by this company. When they sent me the draft rental agreement, I sent it to my mother to review. It was at this point that she realized that not only was the company the same, but it was also the same apartment. I contacted the company and told them of this development in the situation, and I said that we would like to use the deposit for this new rental agreement. THEY SAID IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. The reasons they gave for not allowing us to use the deposit were: 1)They believed that we had manipulated the situation in order to get the same apartment to rent again. (We had not.) 2)When it was clear that the company would not give the deposit back in 2020 even though there was a travel ban in place that my mother had no control over, my mom sent a message and told them that she didn’t want to do business with them again. The company believe that this voids their offer to use the deposit on another rental. (It does not. I checked with a lawyer.) 3)The company says that since my mom paid the initial deposit in 2020 and since I was arranging the new rental agreement, they did not have to honor the deposit. (Even though they knew I was arranging for my mother, that she would be paying the rental, and her name and information were also on the draft rental contract.) Not only this, but the company threatened me with legal actions if I placed a bad review on social media. My mother and I have decided not to pursue this any further, and we will never use this company or recommend them to anyone. The way this situation was handled, the fact that the company accused us of manipulating the situation to get the deposit back, the rudeness of the man I was in contact with, and their refusal to work with us on finding a solution to actually use the deposit, are more than enough reasons to convince me that this company is unprofessional and dishonest.
