On a very nice day like today, the parking lot was half full. To my surprise, you didn't have to pay. Very strange but nice.

Parking cheaper than Kennemerstrand, only a little further away from the beach, do get the valuables from your car

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Achtung, an dieser Stelle steht eine Art Camping/Mobil Home Stellplatz.. Parkplätze etwas weiter fahren, dort dann gratis vorhanden.
Attention, there is a kind of camping / mobile home parking space at this point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vrij druk als het lekker weer is maar zolang je op de parkeerplaats afstand houdt is het strand groot genoeg om afstand te kunnen houden. Leuk strand met veel gezelschap van leuke honden!
Quite busy when the weather is nice, but as long as you keep your distance in the parking lot, the beach is big enough to keep your distance. Nice beach with lots of company of nice dogs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een grote parkeerplaats in de duinen. Hiervandaan loop je in 10 minuten door de duinen naar het brede strand van IJmuiden. Met mooie vergezichten op de zee en duinen.
Vond het duingras in september wel hoog staan, daar je hierin parkeert. Mijn inziens kans op brandgevaar bij een hete motor.
Parkeertarief valt mee met €1,80 per uur tot maximaal €8,50 per dag.
A large parking lot in the dunes. From here you can walk through the dunes to the wide beach of IJmuiden in 10 minutes. With beautiful views of the sea and dunes.
Thought the dune grass was high in September, since you park here. In my opinion there is a risk of fire with a hot engine.
Parking rate is not too bad with €1.80 per hour up to a maximum of €8.50 per day.
