Parkhotel Bad Arcen - Klein Vink

The room is spacious and the beds are comfy(not too hard, not too soft), but the beds were cracky. The cleaning service is thorough, they even through something away something we wanted to through away but forgot and that while we were staying an other night. The building is very noisy. You could hear noises coming from other rooms and from the hallway, girls walking on high heels on a floor above us even woke us up by just walking.

Not easy to find the hotel, but good food once you do. The thermal baths themselves are fine, but rather crowded during the day and a bit small. Also, some of the extras, like the Turkish spa, cost extra.

The worst experience ever The worst spa and hotel experience ever! Never been more disappointed, a total rip off for a premium price. We read so many good reviews and we were very excited to come here, but reality was quite the opposite, never coming back here. The indoor area around the thermal spas is extremely cold, a lot of people were hanging out near the entrance to thermal pool because it was the only warm place in the whole area. As a hotel guest the entrance is for free (other people need to pay entrance fee), but everything was for extra cost (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi), all facilities are old, outdated and most of them are broken. We tried Turkish bath for 4Eur, it was a plastic tube with way too much eucalyptus oil and a cold shower at the end. Showers were cold and there was no option to control the water temperature. There are a few massage jets in the thermal pools, but there’s a limited time to use them - beeper tells you to move to the next one each 30sec, also, there is a line for them. Felt like hearding cattle. Weirdly, there’s a lot of “no kissing” signs at the thermal pools. There’s a small caffe at the thermal spa area - very cold, feels like an old canteen. Hotel provided no robes, slippers or towels for spa, poor service at the reception, no suggestions or help. Room was very cold, separate beds instead of double bed. In the reception they didn’t want to give us extra towels for the room, we had to “exchange” our old ones for the new ones in the lobby, having to stand in the middle of the hotel lobby with a swimming suits is really not acceptable. Also, at the reception they asked us if it’s first time visiting their hotel, although they give us no information about facilities or possibility to book spa treatments (even when we asked about them, they gave us a broshure and didn’t even try to help us translate). Restaurant is way over priced - 25Eur for a meal is outrageous, considering the quality and atmosphere. Located in the middle of the lobby/corridor between thermal spa and hotel. The hostess didn’t even bother to show us the table or bring menus, felt like “self-service”. Salmon was with no taste and very plain. However, the waitresses was very nice and helpful. My boyfriend liked his shrimp fettuccini. All in all, would never recommend going to this place.

Purely relaxation. The dinner option is a bit limited though

The hotel at this roompot park is very nice although there did seem to be little to do on the camping site itself. The hotel is located next to the pool / wellness center and parking is free. the park is located close to the Maas and there are places worth visiting here. The park is also in reach of the Hertog Jan factory!

We had a great experience with everything such as thermal baths, hotel, food and service. Of course there are some improvements like saunas. You should pay extra money right there with coins which I think is very old style at least for the Netherlands. It's better if you can pay once and use all facilities. For sure we'll back and strongly recommend it to everybody. Thanks.

Great room and spa with many pools saunas, hammam, excellent service, nature all around the hotel! I totaly recommand if you wanna have a weekend away to relax !!

I made a reservation with this hotel and we booked a 2 person room. we have 6.5 years old daughter and she mostly sleeps with us. I was honest and I mention that our daughter would sleep with as at the note section. they sent me and e-mail and they said that we could not stay at that room. I insisted and I sent another email. after that they wrote me "We can't accept the booking this way. " After this reply, I understood that our booking was not accepted so I did not think about the cancelation of booking. I understood that it has been already canceled because of our situation. (of course I could not leave my daughter at home and go to vacation). 3 days later, Roompot sent me a bill of your cancellation and request the money of the room that I did not stay. I called the customer service and wait approximately 20 minutes to talk someone. I explained my situation and the person that I talked to did not do anything to fulfil customer satisfaction. I asked to speak to manager and they did not let me. They will get my money that they did not deserve. because of the language play and the power of misunderstanding, they will get my money. they would have been pleasant and understanding. they might have warn us at this email about cancelation. they did not call us the time that we should have been the hotel when we did not arrive there. they waited and after 1 week has been passed since check-in, they sent us a bill. no warning, no goodwill.
