Dawit en Dorinde zijn de eigenaren van Passion Ethiopian coffee en werken vanuit Noordeinde 166. Een Ethiopische zakenman en een Nederlandse alleskunner maakt dat Passion Ethiopian Coffee is geworden zoals het is; goede kwaliteit voor een eerlijke prijs in een warme en gezellige ambiance. Dawit heeft jarenlang in de koffiebusiness gewerkt en zelfstandig winstgevende coffeecorners opgericht voor verschillende bedrijven. Beide eigenaren hebben een hart voor eerlijke handel en zijn tegen armoede en onderdrukking. De koffie wordt daarom ook in Ethiopië gebrand met als gevolg dat er een tussenpersoon in de zakelijke lijn wegvalt. Hierdoor krijgen de koffieboeren in Ethiopië een goed loon voor hun werk. Ook in de zaak krijgt u een goede kwalitatieve koffie voor een eerlijke prijs. Hiermee wordt armoede en onderdrukking tegengegaan en ondersteunen de eigenaren de community´s in Ethiopië.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited with a friend, we both loved the place. Asked to try something Ethiopian, the hot chicken sandwich didn't disappoint. And I will definitely be back for the caramellino. Cafe is ran by a couple of absolutely lovely people too.

I ordered the vegan dish here with amazing spinach and lentils and it was sooo delicious !
The people are super kind and they treat you like family. Absolutely in loveee. This place feels like home?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had lunch here last week Monday. We had to wait long for our food. An apology from the owner (we also received a cake on the house) and I had forgotten about it. Especially when the food arrived: a fresh homemade meal with injera, I was in heaven! I will come back. Thank you for wonderful service and delicious food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly passionate owner and we felt very welcomed straight away. Amazing amazing home made food and very affordable, you can taste the love in the food. Also the cheesecake is the best we have ever tried! Best place for eating out in the hague, can highly recommend!!!
P.s coffee is worth trying, the quality is very high and pure.
Vegan friendly as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful experience at this cozy restaurant. Friendly and welcoming owners. Tried the homemade Tibs with Ingera. They bumped the spiciness to suit our needs and it was just mouth watering?. The filter coffee at the end just made the whole experience perfect.
Mainly came for coffee, but had a hearty brunch!! Will definitely visit when I am in Hague again.

I can highly highly recommend the hot chicken sandwich, all of the coffees/drinks as well as the most mouth-watering cheesecake. Never had a bad meal or experience in all the times I've been there. Quality is always amazing. My favourite spot in the city for sure. + I forgot to mention, the friendliest owners ever!
