The sound system is great and watching and listening to the last James Bond was a treat.
Do yourself a favor or impress your next date on a movie in tuschinski.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathé cinema in a Stunning theatre building. Great doublet seats are bookable in the lodges and great entrance hall. The only problem is the sound, can be improved in loud movies. Hope to see the return of special screening of plays, concerts, opera, etc. Very centrally located, next to many fast food joints, shops and bars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very comfortable and unique experience to visit. I'm used to visit Pathe a lot but never anything quite like Tuschinski. I've had the pleasure to visit the first deck at the "big room" which has beverages "on the house" and a lot of leg room during the movie.
There is however also a downside to it. First: People ordering on the sides would likely experience a less interesting look at the screen as you won't look at it in a straight angle. Second: subscriptions taken at Pathe don't benefit online reservations for the decks because it isn't included on the webpage, which I think should be there by default like other locations do.
Overall pleasant experience and recommendable to anyone visiting the city and want to go see a movie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most spectacular art nouveau building in the Netherlands (and in Europe). We watched multiple movies here and it's one of our favorite theater. Zaal 2, which looks relatively new has love seats and the movie watching experience is wonderful. The seats are quite comfortable and the interior wall paneling, the ceiling, the light scones and fixtures are all amazing. Besides watching movies here, we also did a walking audio tour of this art nouveau building. They have tours in the mornings, where they give you a audio guide. It's available both in English and in Dutch languages. I highly recommend doing this tour as you can see the beauty of the interiors and the architecture of the main auditorium. It's probably one of the most beautiful buildings in Europe.
