★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to go shopping BUT the opening times are inconsistent, sometimes it's open sometimes it's not. For example on a Saturday it's supposed to open but when I went there there where only 2 merchants open, they said that most people didn't come because of the rain. This is annoying for people who don't live near this place. So if you go here don't depend on the Google opening times or their website.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This isn't a market for tourists, it's a market for locals to get their essentials (like fruits and veggies). I would not recommend this for site seeing but I would if you need some very cheap vegetables and want to reduce your plastic waste since most produce is not wrapped. It is not a huge market compared to the Sunday market in west park, just a place to get what you need. It's not super asthetic either

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good market for fresh vegetables, cheese, bakery products. You will find lot's of shop for clothing as well although not sure about the quality of it. It's a small and not very crowded market hence it's best for weekend grocery shopping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too bad that since COVID-19 the market isn't as big anymore. I used to enjoy the local feel of it very much. There is a cart that sells fries and snacks and if you want the best fries in Amsterdam - that's where you find them. The lady is super nice too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While still cozy and fun, the market has become a lot smaller since the covid-19 pandemic which makes its current state to be slightly saddening. However it still has great vendors for all sorts of stuff, the food products tend to be of good quality. I hope it can recapture its former glory after the pandemic is over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely small market, so near to central Amsterdam but its like a different world . typically Dutch. Get the free ferry from central station , a few minutes, then when your on the other side of about 5 minutes by bicycle or a 15 minutes stroll. It's on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Well worth a visit if you can find the time,
