About Meneer Kebab
Het verhaal begon in 2004 toen zijn ouders Eethuis Mesir opende; een familiezaak waar hij en zijn zusje van kleins af aan meehielpen. Alleen de beste ingrediënten, gemarineerd volgens familierecept waren goed genoeg. Hij droomde ervan op een dag de zaak over te nemen.
Met meer dan 13 jaar ervaring doet Meneer Kebab het nu al 4 jaar op zijn eigen manier: al zijn Kebab’s zijn perfect, volgens familierecept, 48 uur gemarineerd, gespiesd en op de authentieke grill voorbereid voor een onvergetelijke smaak. Ook voor zijn mezze’s gebruikt Meneer Kebab de verste producten en kruiden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is very authentic Turkish Kebab House. The meat is prepared fresh daily as well as other items available in the restaurant. Tender meat as it would be in Turkey. Very clean, very friendly staff. I would highly recommend since I am Turkish and I know my food quite well. Enjoy!!!

Felt like a community hot spot,something that requires both fantastic authentic food and also staff that are simply good people. Very rare thing in Amsterdam and glad I found it.
the bread and sauces were fantastic. Everything was fresh with so many good meats to choose from. The place was spotless. It was extremely affordable. I could come back and get a different meat and style combination many times over.
My new favorite kebab place in Amsterdam able to offer both sit down dinning food and quick eats style as well. I come from Amstel, but it's worth a nice cycle up to noord to relax and get a great meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at the hotel across the street during my stay in Amsterdam and visited this restaurant a couple times, having great experiences each time. The owner spoke English and was friendly, providing recommendations on food. For breakfast he recommended a dish he claims he invented -- his personal variation of a Turkish breakfast (eggs/sausage/cheese + toast) -- which ended up being terrific. The only disappointing aspect was the small size of their coffees, but I give it five stars nonetheless. Highly recommend.
