One of the best Thai places around the area. Great service, and lovely Thai chef she has been cooking there for the past 10 years 7 days a week, and this shows in the dishes. If you want to make a dish spicy just ask for it.

Such delicious food - highly recommend! The place is pretty low key and non-pretentious, and the staff are really friendly. We had the prawn red curry dish with fried rice which was so good! Will definitely eat there again!

Really good restaurant. Fresh vegetables, not canned goods. Authentic Thai taste. Friendly people.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, AVERAGE FOOD. Food ok (7/10) however horrendous service and I do not recommend at all. Ran out of noodles at 8pm, not sure how a Thai restaurant expects to do business if they do not even have noodles before most customers have even arrived. Forgot one of our orders. Took 40 minutes for our food, arrived 15 minutes before rice so we could not eat it and was cold by the time we could. We were told it could not be microwaved but they placed it on a heating β€œplate” above candles. My boyfriend was not given cutlery until asking for it twice. To top it off, they only take cash or transfers, told us we could transfer and when we went to pay, said we had to have cash. Had to leave and come back on a wet cold rainy night. DO NOT RECOMMEND

We were the only table when we arrived. It was very dark, and the only light we had was a candle. Perhaps it was supposed to be romantic but not really. The furniture and decor looks old not looked after. The rice we got that came with the food was overcooked i.e. soggy. The only reason I did not give this one star was because the service nice, the staff was very polite. Tip: fix your menu and use a better rice cooker!

Although the restaurant itself could use a little bit more of an atmosphere, the food is amazing! I genuinely enjoy Asian and especially Thai food, I can only recommend this place as one of the best Thai foods (if not the best) in Amsterdam. Family run and it shows.

We have just moved into the area, and being huge lovers of Thai food we wanted to check out this nice looking, popular Thai restaurant. Our first impressions were ok, we stood for quite a while waiting to be seated, but the open kitchen and decor were a nice touch. After the long wait to be seated, the service continued to be slow. The food coming slowly is understandable as the kitchen is quite small and the restaurant was pretty full, but it took a long time for them to come and take our order and to come and give us the bill. The food was mostly worth the wait though - we ordered the roast vegetables in oyster sauce and the fried tofu with onion. The vegetables in oyster sauce was delicious, and for the price the portion was pretty generous. The fried tofu dish was offered to us as spicy or not spicy - I dread to think what would have happened if we had chosen the spicy option because even the non spicy option was quite a challenge to eat. Behind the spice, though, the vegetables and tofu were cooked beautifully and the rest of the flavours (what you could tell of them) were great. Up until now this restaurant would have gotten 3 or 4 stars, but the bill was quite shocking. For one, only a carafe of wine is listed on their menu, so we asked for a bottle. If we had ordered a carafe (0.5L) we would have paid 8.50, but a bottle (0.7L) was 22.50! It is hard to justify that, but they just told us that this was the price. The second shock was that they charged us 3.50 to pay by card. This is already pretty bad considering it's 2020 and we haven't paid extra to pay by card for years now, but when we called them out on not listing this anywhere on the menu their justification was that one of them paid 100 euros at a Japanese restaurant recently. I guess that was meant to make us think this credit card charge was reasonable, but no...it did not work. This could have been a restaurant that we'd visit very regularly, but we'll go to one with better service and more transparent pricing.

Good family restaurant. The food was tasty and the owners are very nice people. That's the kind of place I will keep coming if I would live in the neighborhood Definitely recommend it!
