Als je op zoek bent naar een Thais restaurant met authentiek eten zit je bij restaurant Take Thai op het Thorbeckeplein goed. In ons restaurant kun je plaatsnemen aan de met wit linnen gedekte tafels en je laten verwennen door de kookkunsten van chef Preecha. De chef is tevens ook eigenaar van het Thaise restaurant en komt uit het noordoosten van Thailand en kookt authentieke Thaise gerechten. Preecha runt inmiddels al zo’n 20 jaar een Thais restaurant en weet precies wat zijn gasten lekker vinden. De kip met knoflook en de kip in groene curry zijn hardlopers, maar de kaart staat ook vol met andere specialiteiten. Dus probeer vooral ook eens wat anders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So.... new location but same fabulous team. The food remains amazing! Top Thai in Amsterdam .. yes it’s not the most glamour location ... but.. it’s a huge terrace and the inside is so cozy and authentic. Duck in red curry 150%!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great restaurant with tasy food and a super friendly staff. While I would have given it 5 stars, I honestly feel that they are lacking in terms of vegetables. For example, I ordered one of the duck dishes, and like all main dishes it is served with plain rice, but there are not vegetables. That is fine, I can just order a side dish to make up for it, right? Sure, but the selection is very limited unless you order a vegetable dish that includes rice or noodles, which is a bit much when rice already comes with the main dish.
