This organisation is verry involved with the surroundings and environment that its located with. There is also an nice canteen with a playroom. For last but not least their covid19 prevention was secure.

I’m almost ashamed to admit but I went for a job interview at this place and I’ve never felt so worthless after an interview in my entire life. I was dealt with by a group of Millennials, one of which had a Psychology degree, hmm and working at this modern day salt mine. The very first question I was asked was how old was I. This question is actually illegal in my home country. But age discrimination by default is easy. Why would anyone really support this sort of home delivery system that pushes the human spirit to its fullest and endurance for a basic wage. Picnic Wages are too low they claim they are a leading employer, at €10.87ph but you don't get any surcharges or penalty rates. Unlike an orderpicker at AH pays 150% Sunday and 125% after 22.00 and Saturdays. At Albert Heijn You will receive a starting salary of €12.57 per hour and this will to €13.46 after 13 weeks of work! 150% surcharge on for hours worked after 22.00 and 200% on Sundays! You build up holidays (25 days based on 40 hours a week) and 8,33% holiday pay. But no penalty rates and lower hourly rates at picnic. The drivers work so hard as a previous customer I saw them hot, sweating and stressed as they tried to get between addresses with lots of heavy deliveries, I’d give them a cold can of drink and ask some questions and it was never positive. But I thought I’d tried working in the distribution center. But it seems I didn’t have a chance whilst I can’t prove it I do know from my vaste experience in hospitality and HR when lame excuses are used to cover the fact that “ your just too old “ easy for them to deny but the reason they gave for not employing me is I lived 10 klms from the center. Which was fully made clear by the initial phone interview as the lady looked up distance and travel options, she told me which tam and night buses I could use. But it all changed at the youth factory. Anyway I suppose I dodge a bullet, if your considering a job take the time to read the reviews of the place on Glashouse and indeed work sites and you’ll see the only positive thing you’ll see I’d a free meal at breaks. But no positive reports on support, feedback, encouraging motivation all seem to be missing. But they do seem to have a 10 point system and you lose a point for each time your a little late or don’t reach a target and then your fired, which they can easily do as they only offer zero hour contracts. I would not recommend this humiliating experience to anyone. Working within stores at action, AH, Jumbo, Dirks, VOMAR has to be beter and the Interations with customers far more interesting.
