In 1855 werd rondom het Polderhuis de Poldertuin aangelegd naar een ontwerp van tuinarchitect Jan David Zocher jr. (1791-1870). Hij ontwierp ook het Vondelpark en de tuin van Paleis Soestdijk. Zijn tuinen kenmerken zich door de kronkelende paden en de waterpartijen met bruggetjes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful flowers, free entry and easy parking closeby. And a much quieter alternative to Keukenhof. I can imagine it might become crowded during daytime on sunny days but I went around 5 pm and it wasn't too busy.
