★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is rude. Even by Dutch standards. They’re not helpful. They don’t ask if you need help and when you look for an employee they’re hard to find. When you do find one, they act shocked that you would dare to speak to them while they’re oh so busy. The lady at the cash register acted real sour when I didn’t know that plastic bags cost money. I’m Dutch-American and it does strike me that American service is miles and miles better. But, come on stupid Praxis store... I’m sure you could do better if you tried even a little bit. Just disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this praxis to find supplies for a lighting installation for mine and my partners business. We like to do things ourselves, to save money but also to learn new skills, so I knew in my head what I wanted the final outcome to be but wasn't 100% on how to make this work.
I was assisted by a member of staff named Erik. He was extremely helpful, I listened to what it was we was trying to achieve and then really took his time to figure out the best way it could be done. He also knew we would be doing it ourselves and not hiring help, so he explained all the options for us available and also in great detail and also in "laymans " terms of how to do it- withou talking down to me or making me feel patronised because I'm small, blonde and a girl that I'm incapable of it (which I've had before in DIY stores from older men).
I hope the management who read this let Erik know that his help and patience was priceless and he went beyond his need to help me and give him the credit he deserves!

Bought a toilet with a faulty knob - came in and they sorted it so quickly! Amazing service!!
Old review -
Hands down one of the best experiences I had in any store in the Netherlands. The manager even took time to show us how to do what we needed to do and the other associates were very helpful in helping us find what we needed.

The problem is, it is too big and lacks signage or logic, meaning window isolation next to sinks etc so going down all the Isles to find a particular item on racks that also lack any order or hanging on wrong place. Chaos! Yet lots of friendly staff to help out before going nuts. Deals are not really must buy now. Still happy to have this place nearby when I have some things to do in the house and plenty of time to prepare...
