★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Takes a long time for them to find the parcels, they try to send you away sayin postnl scanned it wrong and it isn’t there, and when you ask them to look again the guy sighs and finds it in the end. So it was there all along. Poor customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The obvious place to go to post stuff by national post and to pick up packages. Friendly people, Amsterdam direct style. I like that! The widest range of postcards of the neighbourhood and a huge variety of newspapers, stationary, lottery, cigarettes on this street. They also have e.g. baby cloths if you like to send a nice present along with your card full of wishes. I understand they ask a small contribution if you want to use their tape or something to wrap a package but I am less amused by the fact they recently ask 15ct for each payment by bank card at the mail counter. For me it's a reason to go somewhere else to deliver my mail and packages.

The first time I wanted to send a package to Germany, on which I also wrote the address myself. However, they placed another sticker on it with a complete wrong address. I spend 20 euros on it!!
Second time I wanted to send a letter to Germany and again terrible service. No help on how many stamps were required and I had to purchase 5, eventhough I needed only 1.
Terrible! Nobody is interested or qualified to take packages. Always way overprized. Go somewhere else.
