★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi en rustig park, midden in Meerssen. Heerlijk vertoeven aan het meertje met zwanen en fonteinen. Aan de kant van het station staat een prachtig prieel op een heuveltje. In het park zelf genoeg bankjes, zowel in de schaduw als in de zon. Nog diverse historische vondsten te zien, zo als het oude bruggetje bij het speeltuintje, en de beelden bij de ingang van het park aan de kant van de basiliek.
 Nice and quiet park in the middle of Meerssen. Relax by the lake with swans and fountains. On the side of the station is a beautiful gazebo on a hill. In the park itself enough benches, both in the shade and in the sun. Several historical finds can still be seen, such as the old bridge at the playground, and the statues at the entrance to the park on the side of the basilica.

Loads of little benches to sit on or on the well kept grass. You're allowed to feed the ducks and swans if you like.
There's some art situated in the park as well. And there are a few entrances.
It's very calm there and situated close to the train station on one side and the other side of the park exits in the town centre with numerous shops and cafes.
It's lovely for a wee stroll or just to relax during a break.
