About province Flevoland
Het Europese programma INTERREG is bedoeld voor grensoverschrijdende innovatieve en duurzame projecten die Europa sterker maken.
INTERREG bestaat uit drie programma's. Deze richten zich op:
- samenwerking in de grensregio’s (INTERREG A)
- samenwerking tussen regio’s in verschillende EU-landen (INTERREG B North West Europe en North Sea Region) en
- interregionale samenwerking tussen de EU-landen.
De provincie Flevoland neemt in het kader van INTERREG A deel aan het samenwerkingsprogramma 'INTERREG Deutschland-Nederland’. Aan Duitse zijde gaat het om regio’s in de deelstaten Nordrhein Westfalen en Niedersachsen. Aan Nederlandse zijde participeren naast Flevoland de provincies Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, Gelderland, Noord-Brabant en Limburg.
