★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was prepared quickly after ordering, and was tasty when it arrived on the table. Portions are slightly on the small side.
The restaurant itself is OK. The background music is set at a low enough volume so that you can hear your wife speak, but you can also hear conversations (and phones) from other tables very easily.
There are a few pictures on the walls, though with the harsh lighting I felt that I was sitting in a school cafeteria. (I'm not saying I don't want to see my wife's beauty, but a soft romantic setting on date night would have been nice...)
I guess Queen of India make home deliveries because every 10 minutes the front door was opening and closing with moped delivery people marching in and out. The price is reasonable, though there is quite a push to leave a tip when paying by pin; I'd prefer to do this discretely at the table.
In short - come here with your mates, but if you'd like an atmospheric and special evening out with your wife then bring sunglasses and a candle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been to the restaurant before and the food was good, but the food we got when we ordered tonight, was disappointing. Everything was of a lower quality then expected. The rice hardly smelled like basmati and this weird red bits, that I guess should be carrots but now was rice died red. The vegetables in the curry reminded me of deep frozen veggies, the spinach was clearly deep frozen and the meat slightly tough.
For a relatively expensive meal, we really expected more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food taste so horrible. They are defaming Indian cuisine. Total waste of money. Indeed, it looks unhygienic, there was hair comes out from one of the dish. The special Chef Thali consists of three types of horrible curies, tasteless and ?. The chicken curry was also tasteless and full of oil only.yogert rayta was also tasteless which is simplest thing to make. Also no sweet dish included in the special Chef thaali. I do not recommend it at all.
