Good ambiance but since March 2021 the quality of the food has gone down. New chef perhaps?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel interessante keuken, er wordt vooral geëxperimenteerd met alle kruiden en ingrediënten die maar in huis zijn. Heel gezellige en welkome sfeer, helaas paste het bestek niet bij elkaar. Het zou denk ik niet door Rob Geus goedgekeurd worden, maar dat noemen ze bij Vita d’Or slechts een boost voor je immuun systeem. Absoluut de hike omhoog waard, al zou een gondel een mooie toevoeging zijn.
Very interesting cuisine, they mainly experiment with all the herbs and ingredients that are available at home. Very cozy and welcome atmosphere, unfortunately the cutlery did not match. I don't think it would be approved by Rob Geus, but they just call that a boost for your immune system at Vita d'Or. Definitely worth the hike up, although a gondola would be a nice addition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Matige service en alleen maar vegetarisch eten. Ik wou gwn een steak en dan komen ze aanzetten met aubergine ofzo. Ben toch geen konijn. Ambiance is wel oke, beetje vreemd dat de helft van het bestek aan het plafond is gelijmd... Verder ook overal half verzorgde planten wel leuk voor het uitzicht, maar maakt me toch een beetje bezorgd als ze zeggen dat alles zelf gegroeid is. 4/10, See you next friday
Mediocre service and only vegetarian food. I wanted a steak and then they come up with eggplant or something. I'm not a rabbit. Ambience is okay, a bit strange that half of the cutlery is glued to the ceiling... Furthermore, half-groomed plants everywhere are nice for the view, but still makes me a bit worried when they say that everything has grown itself. 4/10, See you next friday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite possibly the worst place I've ever been to. The food is disgusting at best, there is a complete lack of gezelligheid, the staff is rude and don't get me started on the poor hygiene.
I have heard some incredible stories about their neighbours though. So if you're in the neighbourhood, definitely drop by 'De Boomhut'.
