β β β β β I would recommend staying at the Realeneiland Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking to have a wonderful and stress free stay in Amsterdam! The BnB was warm and comfortable with a clean bathroom and huge shower with hot water. Our hosts were amazing as they provided a delicious breakfast spread, access to their bikes to explore the beautiful city and even a ride back to the airport. I will be raving about this place for a long time!

β β β β β Laura & Arjan are wonderful hosts. Super friendly and very accommodating. Our check in process was easy and they provided us a map to help us navigate the city. They also gave us some recommendations for restaurants. I think their place looks much better than the pictures. Itβs in a quiet location and only a 5-6 min walk to the tram station. Safe neighborhood. The breakfast provided is a wonderful amenity and bountiful. Arjan dropped us off at the airport for an additional fee. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely stay there again!

β β β β β We stayed at Realeneiland for 3 nights in May 2019. We can just highly recommend it to every future guest. If you are looking for a real Dutch experience - book the place! The house is 350 years old and renovated with passion! Arjan and Laura are the BEST hosts you can imagine. Thx for everything! Arjan picked us up and dropped us on departure day. Every morning we got a relaxed breakfast with candles and a lot of small nice details. Just perfect. The apartment is located 5 min walking away from downtown. In front of the house you have a small marina - so nice! Ask Arjan for a boat trip. He offers boat trips trough the Amsterdam canals and some other outdoor activities like guided tours to the tulip fields and to the national park. These tours are very special. It is the tour for you! Not for all the other thousands individual travelers on the other boats! lol....
I work in the hotel business and know what I am talking about. The place is perfect for a city trip to Amsterdam. I do not explain the basics - it is absolutely clean and you get everything you may need! Your hosts are taking care of you.
Thank you for everything - we will be back! For sure!

β β β β β Laura and Arjan are friendly and outstanding hosts, helping to make our first trip to Amsterdam a fabulous experience. The checkin process was organized, and clear. The lower unit was clean, spacious and well looked after. The location of the B&B is great with a 5 minute walk to downtown area and 5 minute walk to tram. Location is also 2 minutes from local pubs and restaurants around the canals. Breakfast was abundant and yummy and set up for us each morning. Their hospitality went beyond to picking us up at the airport, speeding up check-in for us as we were sooooo tired, food suggestions, how to get to places within Amsterdam, and other over and above things to make our stay special. Our next visit to Amsterdam we will definitely be booking to stay with these guys again! Thank you for making this experience so warm and welcoming!

β β β β β Our stay in Laura and Arjan's apartment was excellent. Their quiet "island" location is perfect for quick access to all of the key Amsterdam sites while giving us a great spot for quiet relaxation at the end of the day. The nearby cafes and tram stop offer great convenience. Laura and Arjan were great hosts - accommodating our late arrival (made only later by train issues) and early departure with grace - and a great sack breakfast and hot beverage for the train. The apartment had everything we needed an I especially appreciated the large bed and expansive shower - both great amenities for a big guy like me. Thanks for making our visit to Amsterdam so memorable.

β β β β β Laura and Arjan are friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us a positive and enjoyable experience. We got to explore Amsterdam nature by going with them to the National Park, it was a very relaxing tour, the views were amazing. Windmills tour was another spectacular experience with them too. I have checked their website, and it seems they have a couple of other amazing options. If you are looking for a great vacation and welcoming feeling, I highly recommend Holland Outdoors with Laura

β β β β β What can we say: It was amazing!
The welcome, the fantastic location, the hospitality, the cozyness and the complete interior including nice smells and a wonderful bed. The breakfast was surprisingly well, fresh and though very tasty. We also took the boat tour and that is highly recommended. With Arjan & Laura as your local guides you will experience Amsterdam in its most beautiful way. We will be back for sure!

β β β β β This place is a gem! First of the area is quiet and so beautiful- youβre surrounded by historic houses and bridges. The location is just perfect, close to everything- including public transportation. The hosts are amazing. They went above and beyond. I rated this place 5 stars βοΈ
