I wish to rate De Beren higher than this, but after today's situation I can't. I have ordered the home delivery from de Beren twice and was not really fully satisfied with the food as well as with the delivery time, but there were no big expectations so overall my opinion was neutral. Today I decided to check the restaurant by going to it's terrace. The terrace is really cosy and nicely located, the staff is also very friendly. Unfortunately I wasn't lucky with my waiter which was a fully unexperienced, very young man. He took our order for drinks, came back, confused with snacks that we did not have a chance to order yet. Finally got back to us with our drinks... Unfortunately the beer I ordered did not land on the table but fully on my trousers, shirt, purse and phone. I was fully soaked with beer. And as much as I understand that it can happen to everyone, i had to ask for a tissue and take care of changing the chair, which was also fully wet, myself. We stayed at De Beren for around two hours, so that i could at least partially dry out. We ordered some other drinks and food. All I heard was a very dry 'oh, sorry'. As much as I am not one of those people who makes a big deal out of such mistakes, this time the situation was really unpleasant and I hoped that the restaurant will at least get me this drink for free or apologize in a way that I would feel that they care. Instead we paid the whole bill and walked back home looking like I pied my pats. I found it unprofessional and sad. I hope nobody had such situation and noone will, but De Beren... In case your teenage waiter will make someone else fully soaked with the drink - at least offer this drink for free and bring some tissues.
