★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Beren is, let's say, adequate. The good is OK-ish, the staff is reasonably well behaved, the menu is uninspiring. I will never go here by own choice but if I'm invited for a work lunch, it's fine. Nothing to complain about, but not outstanding either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thought we'd check out the Roosendaal De Beren as we have had only positive experiences in Oosterhout and Den Haag. The waitress was rude and absolutely uninviting; there were no other guests, it was as though we had totally inconvenienced her by walking in (ready to spend money!!!!).
We decided we didn't want to eat there after her rude attitude and ended up at the McDonald's next door.
