★ ★ ★ ★ ★ American diner-style concept. Hudson's is a new name in West Holland, with a few restaurants in the area. This particular one is close to Leiden. It has all the American atmosphere you need, both in decoration but also with the Saturday evening live music. Food is very good with a (delicious) Salmon or Veggie burger the only options for vegetarians/vegans though. Reasonable price, good service and good portion size. We'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terribly noisy. Takes way to long to get your food. Too expensive. Staff try their best. Customers allowed to move tables and chairs and open the exit door. Totally ruined our meal. Could not wait to leave. Big disappointment. Work on leaving tables where they are, this us disturbing to customers trying to eat in peace. Work getting the food out quicker. No one likes to have to wait when hungry !

Prices are way to high. My vegan burger was very small. It came with a "salad" (which was 2 small leafs of green). We had to share a few fries (only one portion for 2 people). They were very mushy.
The Aperol Spritz (€5,75!) came in an extrem small glas full of ice cubes.
I would not recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rustic wooden/industrial restaurant with friendly young staffthat provides excellent information of the area if you are cycling through. Unfortunately the toilets are accessible for those with mobility issues.
The latte was typically Dutch madr, meaning that the first sip is bitter and it mellows down to a creamy flavour once you take more sips.
The foamy cream with stood the spoon test and an Orea is given as buiscit.
Great reststop when enjoying the various cycling routes on a sunday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to wait for almost everything. We ordered French fries as a side dish, they only brought us the main dishes. Later got one portion and when we finished our main dish they brought the other portion of French fries.
