The food was fantastic, it's great value for money, the order was ready on time for me to pick it up, and the staff at the location was very friendly. The only thing I missed, since I'm not familiar with Afghan food, was a little paper or something on the box telling me about the food I was about to eat, which would have probably been something the waiter would have told us had we be dining at the restaurant itself. Overall a great experience. Looking forward to repeating it sometime soon!

Plenty plenty food for two. Had no problem asking for non-bottled water, 2 glass arrived with pitcher of water. Green pasta dumpling with meat filling and tomato &spice sauce on top is Mantoe. Very good. Enjoyed the meal and conversation with daughter of matriarch/chef of the recipes.

With recipes from generations brought to life with a modern twist on a delicately crafted plate, the food was diverse, flavour packed and served with love. This was a nice Afghani meal in the heart of the Jordaan. The restaurant’s ambience was charming, with interesting artwork on the walls. Neelo was a lovely host/server, bringing us the delicious treats her Mum cooked. The Afghani Chai was absolutely delicious, and a true treat on a cold autumn evening. The coated almonds on the side were refreshing. From the food, the dumplings were simple yet so elegant and yummy. I’d go back for those again. The meatballs and the pork were delicious, though I wish they had a little more heat to balance the rest of the flavours. The carrot cake dessert wasn’t like the usual carrot cake, but instead a delicacy layered with flavour and traditional cooking. If you’re in the neighbourhood and fancy trying something new — give this a try.

You chose the number of courses. My favorites were the roasted pumpkin with slaw, the tender and flavorful meat patties, and the rice. The rice was so full of flavor and topped with almonds, raisins, and carrots. So yummy!! The cauliflower was surprisingly spicy. I am always pleasantly surprised with how good eggplant can be. Service was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to try some more Afghan treats.
