The experience is great. Atmosphere is wonderful and romantic. My personal comment on food is average. Very good customer service.

Very nice unique experience. Not to many revolving restaurants around so whenever my wife and I find one we go for it. We were not disappointed. At first I didn't know what to make of the menu and I was not excited. You can choose either the chefs menu for the table or go al' acarte which is how we ordered. We ate the buratta with sour dough bread and basil olive oil which was yummy ? then had the scallop ravioli which was also very good. Finally the best part at the end was the fries which were some of the best I've ever had, just perfection. I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Wait staff was good and accommodating. Great views of the river and 360 degree turn around let's you see most of Amsterdam. A definite must experience if your in Amsterdam. We came from Florida and glad we choose this place for the few days we stayed?

I can honestly say that my wife and I do enjoy dining out more than most. It has been a tough year for everyone, and Moon Restaurant was a wonderful breath of fresh air, after a time of limited finer dining options. We chose to enjoy the Chef's Tasting Menu, with a few extras, and it was absolutely the right decision. Every dish was carefully thought out, but not overblown. The Chef has a clear vision for the tasting menu, and we were pleasantly surprised by the flavor & pace of the meal. We left the restaurant perfectly content & satiated. I cannot guarantee that the menu will be the same when you dine at Moon Restaurant, but I can say that I trust the Chef to deliver a stellar dining experience. Often times the food is the only highlight that is mentioned in restaurant reviews...but this time, I must draw attention to the service. Food can be delicious, but without proper service, it can all go really badly...really quickly. What I can say about the service? Our service captain is named Jesper. I do not know if Moon Restaurant trains all of its staff the same way, but I can say that Jesper was efficient, knowledgeable, charming, and actually very helpful. Seriously, how many times have we all gotten sub-par service in a really nice restaurant? If you go to Moon Restaurant...ask for Jesper. The guy is great at his job and he is definitely going places in the culinary world! All I know is that Moon Restaurant is worth the ferry ride, the walk across the canal, and, finally, the long elevator ride. Be sure to enjoy those amazing views of the city and, of course, those epic instagram photo-ops...but, (Please...I beg you), don't go so far with that silliness that you forget to enjoy the impeccable service and incredible food. !!5 STARS!!

We loved this place. We had the chef’s menu and really enjoyed all 5 dishes. They were all delicious and so well presented. Service was excellent and such a good atmosphere. Definitely an amazing spot for a special occasion!

Overall: it’s okay and has highlights but it’s not a must visit. Let’s start with the good side: there is high potential - our second course chicken cooked sous vied was fantastic! Portions size was also perfect. As well as the cheese selection. Nothing to complain about. So let go to the downside: Service, there is a lot room for improvement and it is not adequate for the price. We got the whine menu before we got the menu (btw the whine menu is manageable in size and quality) - so the waiter showed up 3 times. Since he gave us 30 seconds to have a look on the menu after we had both menus and of course we were not ready to order.. between 2nd and 3rd time we waited 10 minutes… crowning finish: we had to look for our jackets because nobody of the service was available to hand them over. Our first course tasted like a ready meal. So we were quite disappointed, especially for a price of 50 Euros.

Exceptional! Every dish looked and tasted amazing. One of the best in Amsterdam, worth every penny. Highly recommended to have a romantic dinner and for groups to enjoy the evening. The service level is definitely a plus. When you walk out of the elevator the view hits you with everything it has. It's just amazing.

Beautiful place with a huge view ? staff very friendly and helpful, delicious dishes (dining food). You should make a reservation first because it's always busy especially at night.

I had a 7 meal course for lunch on a Sunday. The food was obviously amazing. The quality and taste are definitely 5 stars! The view is probably the best in Amsterdam, especially since the restaurant is moving so you can enjoy 360 degrees of the city. So overall very fancy. Prices are reasonable given the overall setting, but not worth the overall experience Personally, I would not come again. There are definitely better restaurants in Amsterdam. There is no need to pay a premium for a view since the city it self does have a special skyline of any sort. Also, the service seemed not very professional.
