Restaurant Oeverzicht Amsterdam – Mediterranean food & drinks at the waterfront - Restaurantoeverzicht.nl
Naast een sfeervolle inrichting binnen hebben we een riant terras dat uitkijkt over het water. Daarnaast hebben we een groot balkonterras boven - en bij beide terrassen kijk je uit over de Sloterplas.
Geniet van een smakelijke lunch, proost met een (alcoholvrije) cocktail of ga voor een verrukkelijk diner.
Onze kaart bestaat uit zorgvuldig samengestelde gerechten van de beste ingredienten. Je vind er ons menu van de zee, een selectie van mezze, onze huisgemaakte hummus en de lekkerste groenten en vlees gegrild op houtskool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view overlooking Sloterplas and friendly staff (they could be smoother, but I can see them working on it).
Food is very Turkish/Greek. We had a mezze platter, coquilles with taboule, and ice cream and baklavas as dessert, being enough for two as dinner. Well prepared, though not outstanding (the muhammara could be better), it’s a bit pricey (50€pp including a bottle of wine and water) regarding we didn’t had a whole 3 course meal.

Mediterranean cuisine, opened June 5 so menus (not online yet) are likely still being developed. Very easy to make a reservation online, but couldn’t accept credit card yet.
We had a wonderful experience here. Soups, Salmon and Shakshuka were very good, will definitely be back for dinner or a drink on the patio!

Not pretentious, good enough wines and very decent middle Eastern food.
Priced accordingly so it doesn't blow your budget.
Did I mention the really nice staff? I'll do it again, they where sweethearts.

Illy coffee, thats a plus, the cheesecake was on the small side for the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent addition to Amsterdam-West. The location is fantastic; at the waterside with open views. Large opening doors make you feel as if you are sitting outside.
The food (from the grill) was very good and was served within an "okay" time frame; even though the place was packed.
The only small criticism would be that the staff is not yet a well-oiled machine. But this is something that 'time' will take care off.
I will for sure go back soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant location is superb, overlooking the gorgeous Sloterplas and if you time it correctly it's a great option for a Sunset dinner (very rare in Amsterdam). Although brand new, we found the service to be align if not superior to many seasoned restaurants, specially with drinks - they serve quite fast although the place was quite busy! The food took longer, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Waiters were very kind, helpful and maybe here's my first positive critisism to the owners - please allow your staff to use sunglasses (!) it broke my heart to see them squinting and I don't think that's healthy either. Everything we oerdered was delicious and the food was well prepared, yet here's another critisism: the "mediterranean" part of this restaurant is maybe too Turkish, eating Gambas al Ajillo with pita bread? Not a good mix.
We'd love to order a platter but (see the menu in my pictures) you can only order that for 2 people and that will set you back 65 EUR which is A LOT when you don't know exactly what you're going to get - they are not that well described. Also a shame that we cannot order some of the stuff you have on the platter individually.
As you can see, and I do hope the owners view this post, dispite of the criticism I still give this restaurant 4 stars. It's a great addition to the region, it's gorgeous inside and the outside is just dazzling in a sunny day. Few adjustments and this restaurant can be unbeatable.
