J	Jay Stoner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices were ok for Amsterdam. Went in between lunch and dinner (1430-1530 time frame). Has a limited menu but we're pretty sure its students cooking in the back. Had 1 bartender and 2 waitresses for the front of the house. Our waitress was very new and couldn't even figure out the beers on tap at the bar right behind her. My wife ordered a cesar salad and I ordered a pork sandwich. My wifes salad was served on a plate and came with more croutons and cauliflower than it did lettuce or dressing. My sandwich was actually very good and the pork was very fresh. Wait times were a little excessive for the amount of people in the restaurant (<5 people) and took almost 30 minutes to get our food. Wife was so disappointed that we had to order fries to feel full after finally getting our food. Took another 20 minutes for an order of fries. Small and cozy atmosphere that is definitely suited towards the guests of the student hotel (trendy and open spaces).
S	Sophia Scholle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before I start - if I was rating the beef burger alone I'd be giving 5 stars no doubt! But for the rest I have mixed feelings. All the food that we had here so far was fine. And their burgers are to die for. The prices are rather high for what you get and considering the fact it's situated in the student hotel where you might expect more affordable food. Everyone that works here is absolutely lovely but the service is a bit slow at times. I personally enjoyed the breakfast as well but the choices are rather limited and I am just lucky that I'm really into Danishes/croissants as they had 3 different types. Overall still liking this place though and would come back.
M	Motty Dooda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID at all costs, even if you are staying in the hotel. The pizzas are good but it's not worth the terrible service. The customer service is dreadful, staff genuinely seem to think that customers are there to waste their time. They appear to avoid contact with customers and are very good at trying to look busy, which often involves chatting to each other or texting. Got the impression at times that they were saying inappropriate things about customers. We waited a very long time for our pizzas and then when they finally came, we hesitated briefly when asked who had ordered which. During our hesitation, the waitress snapped at us to hurry up as the plates were hot. At the end of the meal it took half an hour before anyone came over for us to ask for the bill. When the bill was provided, again we hesitated briefly looking over the bill and the waitress walked off. We were then ignored for 25 minutes despite there only being two tables of customers and over 4 members of staff. Finally, we decided that this must be purposeful and went up to the bar to pay. In addition to the above, there were many items on the menu that were not available.

If you want something quick and cheap then there's a supermarket on the corner near the hotel, you can get a coffee and a croissant for €1.50 and the deal extends through the day too.
R	Robin Hansort on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 'Club Sandwich' (€7,50) as shown on the photo is just sad, the soup (€3,50) is tasteless and watery, the pizzas (€8) here are TERRIBLE, and most of all, the STAFF IS SUPER RUDE! I didn't feel comfortable eating here at all, I will not be coming back here!

If you get the 20% student/long-term stay discount than the prices are comparable to the rest of Amsterdam. The breakfast is a pricey though for the limited selection of items you receive though.
Q	Quinten van der Heide on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to change my review. They remodeled as of January 2018 and now it’s amazing. Great atmosphere, friendly staff (was already there though) and the food also got great.
