Because of myself being a South-Asian and missing home food, I often crave Indian cuisine here. After trying almost all Indian restaurants in the vicinity, this one has won my heart. It is not just the food but the ambiance as well. I have been in the restaurant on busiest evenings and loved the care and attention I have been showered with even with a houseful. The food only gets better everytime I try, worthing every penny. My last visit was this busy Friday and I loved how every customer including me were served with complimentary papardam on the house, receiving good attention from the waitress and the owners. The decor takes me back home but the taste is unparalleled. Though I am not a fan of veggies, the Veg Samosa of Ramna takes my breath away, just as much as the Paneer Bhuna does. I did not want to overestimate my spice tolerance, and hence tried all mild moderate and spicy dishes, and each time the kitchen carefully catered to my wishes. I will highly recommend trying out this place, given the good mood, perfect service and delicious food your can experience here.

The food is fantastic, the staff is always super friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Will keep visiting. One thing you should know. Book a table in advance. It gets real busy real quick.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday dinner and left with a bad taste and experience. First of all, the lady that took the order tried to oversell. There was no tap water available and you are forced to purchase overpriced bottled water. Next, we ordered vegetable Chaat, sizzler menu, paneer bhuna, vegetable curry (at the lady's advice that they are spicy curries) and 3 naans. There was no roti/chapati available. She was not ready to swap the pulao rice for naan. The vegetable Chaat arrived with some canned chickpeas, cucumbers and tomatoes without any salt or Chaat flavor. Next, the mains arrived 45 min and the chicken was burned and flavorless. The vegetable curry tasted weird and was on the verge of going bad. It was definitely reheated food. The paneer tasted like rubber and did not mix well with the curry. The naan was subpar. The tea/coffee that was supposed to come with the meal never arrived. We had enough that we decided to leave the rest of the food and walked out. The owner did not care a bit for the feedback. What a waste of €81! Suggestion - skip this restaurant and walk further 100m down the same street and enjoy an authentic Indian cuisine at Rice n Spice. You will see the difference and money worth spending.
