β β β β β Awesome food with great service. We went there yesterday and didn't know what we should order, because everything looked so good. In the end we got one northern plate and one southern plate to try a little bit of both regions. We also got a cauliflower dish which was also super delicious.

β β β β β Very nice place & the best part it is open throughout the day! You can buy Indian sweets like jalebis, ladoos, pista rolls etc., along with dry snacks(hough few in terms of choice)Tasted the South Indian tiffin & my husband had the the South Indian thali, both were tasty! Madras filter coffee was?

β β β β β The food was outstanding! Menu has lot of options and the staff suggestions were on point. Very cordial staff. We went with a reservation but one might as well walk-in. It's in a walkable distance if you're visiting popular touristy places in Den Hague. From Thali, to Dosas, from Chat to Beverages (Filter Coffee / Mango Lassi) everything tasted so good.

β β β β β Well!! being a foodie. I tried this restaurant knowing as an authentic south Indian restaurant in Hauge.
The ambiance was good compare to Srawana Bhawan.Just comparing one South Indian famous restaurant chain with other.
But the south Indian flavour was missing in the Dosa, Sambhar and tomato onion chutney.
The platter with Dosa idli and Vada was not up to the mark, Potato in the dosa was also not that good.
I liked the mirchi bhajji, very crispy and the green chutney was also very tasty.
The mango lassi was also good and fresh.
This restaurant is good for the people looking for very less spicy food. Not for people looking for authentic south Indian food.

β β β β β The restaurant was packed on a Saturday, understandably for their good food. I started out with a plate of idli vada, which was mediocre as it was barely lukewarm and the idli was not soft as I wanted it. Following that, we opted to indulge in some Indo-Chinese with gobi (cauliflower) manchurian and baby corn chilli. Both were quite tasty (satisfied my craving for Indo-Chinese) with the baby corn chilli being the best dish of the night. With starters done, we went for the next obvious choice at a South Indian restaurant, dosas. I had the onion rava dosa while a few others had ghee masala dosa and plain dosa. All the dosas were crispy and wonderful with the sambhar and chutneys. Even though we had our fill, we ended our meal with some gulab jamun, filter coffee and masala chai. The chai and the coffee were lovely except for the gulab jamun which was average. Overall, we spent around 20 euros each which is steep for a student but the quantity and quality are definitely worth the price. This was not my first time visiting Krishna Vilas, but definitely not going to be my last.
