★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in having very bleached hair and 4 months worth of regrowth. I wanted to dye the bleached part to something similar to the original colour, maybe a little lighter and blend it with the roots. The hairdresser proceeded to dye the whole thing a very dark brown (almost black depending on the light) despite my hair being clearly blonde, and because she did not bother blending there is a line of where the bleached part stops and my by then natural colour begins. When I said that was not my hair colour, she said it was. When presented with a picture of me with natural hair from 2 years ago she said my hair was a different colour then. The cherry on top of the cake was when she said that if I wanted it lighter and blended with the roots I should have said it, which I did at the beginning of the appointment. She said I won't notice the colour difference once it grows, which is clearly a lie because even my husband who is awful at discerning colours apart can't understand how would she think that. I can't even correct it because it would require to bleach my hair, which was already extremely bleached, best case scenario I would get awful textured hair. Outside of that, yeah, the salon is nicely decorated, not that that is the reason anyone would choose a hairdresser.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience at Rick van het Meer. It's a beautiful salon, with very experienced hair dressers and quality wise good products. My hair is difficult to color into blond, but they get my hair perfectly natural blond. I was so happy with the result. 100% recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wasn’t impressed with my haircut for 250 euro cut and color. But the color is nice. Very experienced hairdressers. I’ve gone to two different Ladies at the salon and they did a good job with color. For haircuts I still like Luanne at wild romance. I felt that they were almost overbooked and rushing through things. The salon is quiet and beautiful inside. I feel like you’re paying for the experience which was great for me.

This is the first salon I found after years living in the Netherlands which makes my hair doesn’t look brassy orange. I go every quarter to be handled by Esther and enjoy the chic architecture of the salon :) highly recommended!!
