★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Server not friendly at all and got upset that we had special requests (no salt in pasta for our hypertension patient) and we overheard him complain about it to his colleague who later assured him that when its his restaurant he can do whatever he wants, I wonder what that is!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very low quality seafood.. I ordered a dish of pasta marinera and it was quite deceiving for it's price! Warm salad crab sticks that they would destroy as soon as you try to get them and the rest cheap frozen stuff... No quality seafood and the service a bit poor..

If you love Italian food than make a stop here. Authentic Italian food at it’s best. Homemade pasta with a delicate sugo with meat, authentic saltim boca or a really good tiramisu for desert. I love this place and whenever I’m in Amsterdam I take a stop at Giovanni in his open kitchen. You won’t find a pizza (only for lunch), this is real Italian food and not a typical touristic spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great restaurant with a very friendly host Giovanni. Really loved the food. We had a vegetarian pizza and a chicken penne pasta. Both the dishes were great. Definitely will give a visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While on a Business trip from USA, I went to dinner with colleagues at a quaint Italian restaurant a few minutes from Amsterdam Center. The food was fabulous, each dish made fresh, they have plenty of wine selections, and are in no rush to push you out the door. Giovanni and Nando were welcoming and attentive t all our requests. So much so, while on the trip we went back 2 additional evenings. Looking forward to going see them again next trip. The prices are reasonable but the food is wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real Italian cousin, very attentive service and good wines - all you need for the great evening! We had 3 course menu with some choice and then finished with nice Home made dessert and liquors and everything was just super tasty and great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food. Perfect preparation and presentation. Very typically Italian - don’t go here if you are in a hurry. They will take good care of you, but it takes patience.
Two small negatives - although I mentioned that service is a bit slow, I don't think there was a good excuse for waiting 10-15 minutes after I was seated to offer me something - water, wine, bread? I was starving! The other minor issue was that they did not want to take a credit card. I offered it and they asked if I could pay by cash instead.
