This is supposed to be the most expensive and best hair dresser in Amsterdam. Unfortunately my blow dry didn't look nice and it didn't last more than 1 hour. That's really sad and frustrating ! The lady who had done my hair looked to be nice so I didn't say anything. 47€ (!) for a blow dry which didn't look to be a blow dry. Money wasted. I posted the picture of my hair (showing 2 hours after I left the saloon) ?? never going back there. I don't recommend.

Painful experience (literally). Pulling hair during the wash, painful β€˜massage’ and no real apologies! Price: 88eur for the haircut. I have never had such a bad experience at a hair salon. I do not recommend.

I visited this salon a year ago. The interior both inside and out looked beautiful, so I did not check the reviews, and it was a big mistake. I wanted advice on my bangs, so I chose a Top-Stylist. The Top - Stylist did not give any advice. She was very indifferent. In total, my β€œhaircut” took around 3 min. I paid for NO difference between "before" and "after" visiting the salon 65 euros. You have to agree that it was not a pleasant experience, just a waste of time and money.

UPDATE: some days after submitting the review one of the owners called me personally to apologize and to refund the amount for the hair coloring. It was a very friendly, understanding conversation. Very poor service and quality: this hairdresser is one of the rather expensive ones in Amsterdam. I have been coming here for over three years now and the service steadily decreased until my last visit when the peak of bad performance was reached. I have dark brown hair and wanted some lighter brown highlights on the whole head. As a result, I got white/ yellow bleached highlights all over my head. After I noticed, the responsible hairdresser had suddenly left already (and couldn’t be reached by phone) and her colleague had to take over. They offered me to come again in two weeks to fix it (with a more senior, more expensive hairdresser). So basically, they asked me to pay (even a higher price) to fix what they have caused in the first place. When I didn’t agree, a negotiation started, very unpleasant, not customer centric. Result: Damaged hair (bleached white) Waste of money (paid fully for coloring and discounted haircut) and time (4.5 hours + 3 hours) Overall disappointing experience (arrogant, not customer focused) Feedback: β€’Very bad coloring quality, damaged hair with bleaching and then dark brown on top to β€œfix” it. I spent 4.5 hours there and left with a worse result then before β€’long waiting times (30min) between cutting, washing and coloring due to badly coordinated different staff who provide the service β€’Ice cold water when washing hair both times (technical problem) without providing a notice upfront, unprofessional β€’Staff at the reception is not coordinated with the hairdressers and stylists at all β€’Generally, very junior staff who doesn’t align appropriately with senior staff

Hi, Today, i went to Rob Peetoom to cut my hair. I asked for bangy style but the hairdresser each time adviced me that this style does not look good to me . And at the end she did not cut my hair with what i asked for. She can give me her advice but she should do what customer wants. I am really dissatisfied with my haircut. The reason i went there was to have a bangy style. Even if it does not look good at me. The hair dresser should pay attention to what customer wanted and she should do what i really asked for not what she thinks is good for me. Which is totally different from what i want.
