★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere, the food looks nice if you ever receive it. In 1 hour we got only an orange juice and one of the two cappuccinos that we ordered. The table was dirty when we sat. Other tables that arrived later got served after 30 minutes still before us.

Nice service, beautiful atmosphere at the waterside and such a great price-performance. Especially to recommend is the Sandwich „Kippendij“. The one and only place for breakfast oder lunch ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roos is one my favorite lunch places in Leiden. Delicious grilled cheese sandwhiches and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Their carrot cake is amazing with an oatmilk chai latte. Their staff is friendly and the food is always amazing quality! They also offer take away during the lockdown so grab your lunch to go, you won’t regret it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a cappuccino and cake with a friend. The cappuccino tasted good: was quite thick, had strong enough coffee taste and was visually appealing. The apple cake was not too search and with a lot of apple ?
I enjoyed the Leiden atmosphere of a typical Saturday morning. The sun gods were sympathetic this time and bestows us with those rarely seen magical rays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roos is alypur best choice for brunch in the Leiden center. They have excellent sandwiches, great drinks (matcha is highly recommended), and (most importantly) incredible deserts that you can't pass up. They taste as good as they look, trust me! The cafe itself is super cute and just an overall coazy place to have some coffee with a friend or two, and the servers are really nice and helpful. A must-visit in Leiden.
