New to the city, no friends or family nearby, struggling with maternal mental health. Getting out of the house with my newborn was not easy for me, but I knew that once I’d make it to the city center I could go to Kleine Planeet. Stepping inside has always felt warm and safe. A break from surviving. Good food, warm drinks and anything I’d need for the baby. From a place to park the stroller to toys, a changing room and even healthy kids food. And such friendly staff. No worries about him crying or wanting to be nursed. Most other customers are also parents with young children. So if there’d be any looks, they’d be ones of understanding. And with the concept store next door it is just a perfect outing. Every item seems to have been picked out with much love and care. From clothes to toys to books: beautiful, conscious and sustainable. And plenty of time to browse while the kids explore the play corner. Now that our family is in calmer waters I still very much like to visit Kleine Planeet. Breakfast is soooo good (and all day!). I truly hope for them to make it through this economically challenging times. Since becoming a mom, Kleine Planeet was the first place I felt safe outside the house. Thank you so, so much! ❤️

It took approximately 45m for us to receive our drinks and after a full hour or so we also received the food, however, one of the meals was prepared incorrectly. Despite this, the food was good. We spoke 3-4 times to three different servers before finally receiving our order. Two of the servers were very apologetic and although we received the drinks and some tasty carrot cake for free, it was an overall disappointing experience. Additionally, we saw that the owner was present but she did not say anything to us. We've been to kleine planeet a few times in the past (before Blossom) and never had any issues so this came completely out of the blue.
I	Isabelle Riffon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant place with a nice concept and atmosphere. The food is excellent and you can find plenty treasures in the shop next to the bar/restaurant. The owner is fully engaged in her business and you feel it. Really a place to go. Enjoy!

V	Vacation Villa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In one word Blossom Cafe is AWESOME Their terrace with cool beds is very inviting and provides the vacation feeling in the middle of the beautiful city of Leiden. It's location along the waters of the Nieuwe Rijn is a big plus not only for boat owners. On the menu there are items for everyone for every moment of a day and the food and drinks are DELICIOUS. Underground Parking Garenmarkt is only a few hundreds meters away. Great place to chill in town

Dana has created exactly what Leiden was missing: healthy food which is also beautifully presented, with efficient service which comes with a smile. Plus the best smoothies and a delicious coffee which I now also buy to use at home; what else can we ask for? Highly recommended!
