★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Look, Utrecht had many pretty canals, lots of historical squares. The thing is, most of them are overrun with tourists and places charge accordingly. I, for one, don't like to be addressed in English in my own city. And a lot are with me on this. So this great city beergarden offers an awesome place to drink and get something to eat. You can sit at this place or take your towel and lounge near the canal and order drinks from the 'to go' bar. Take a swim in the canal while you're there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the perfect spot to meet some friends. The service was incredible, they were constantly making sure we were ok on drinks. If you don’t get a table, you can always sit on the grass around bring your own drinks and order food from Roost. The food was fresh and yummy. I had the Korean bbq bowl, which I enjoyed however I must say there wasn’t much meat in the bowl and bulgogi flavour wasn’t as prominent as expected. The sweet potato fries though, are the perfect snack!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place along the canal! It has a very chill vibe. You have to order at the bar yourself and they only take PIN. I had a lovely apple pie with them and was a bit jealous of my hungrier friends getting good-looking burgers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice public spot on the waterfront. Usually quite busy so arrive early! You have to go and order your own food and drinks at the bar and can only pay by card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is nice, unfortunately we ordered 4 dish, only 3 came, the fourth one came after 30 min of waiting. globally slow service, average quality for the food, they cannot split de payment (yes, in 2021). No apologies of the manager for the inconvenience.

They have excellent drinks and light meal options.
I was happy with the Healthy Brunch Bowl and Salted Caramel Iced Coffee.
