Het begon 50 jaar geleden allemaal toen de inmiddels overleden Nico Rousseau (vader van Guido Rousseau die tegenwoordig samen met Paul Diepstraten de directie vormt) in de kelder van zijn woonhuis begon met het handmatig produceren van de inmiddels beruchte en meest verkochte product pindarotsjes.
