Restaurant Ruby is opgericht in 1970 door de familie Tan en staat bekend om haar authentieke Chinese en Indonesische gerechten.
De nieuwe generatie Tannetjes heeft haar smaak verder uitgebreid naar andere Aziatische keukens, wat u terug zult vinden in de huidige menukaart.
Wij serveren authentieke Aziatische gerechten in de vorm van Tapas en Plate Service.
In Azië eet men graag gevarieerd. Een combinatie van verschillende smaken, wat vlees, vis en groenten. Dat is gezond, maar ook erg lekker!
De Aziatische Tapas lenen zich goed voor een gevarieerde maaltijd. De porties zijn kleiner waardoor u meerdere gerechten kunt combineren. Leuk en gezellig om samen te delen, maar vooral een heerlijk avontuur om verschillende gerechten te proeven!
In Azië is het ook populair om gevarieerde maaltijden op één bord te bestellen. Dit zijn vaak standaard combinaties van gerechten. Eén van de bekendste voorbeelden van zo’n gerecht is de Rames; een selectie van Indonesische vlees en groente gerechten met rijst, nasi goreng of bami goreng naar keuze. Of de Siu Yeh, een traditioneel gerecht uit Hongkong, waar twee of meer soorten geroosterd vlees worden geserveerd met seizoensgroenten en rijst. Ook serveren wij maaltijdsalades en maaltijdsoepen (zie Salades en Bamisoepen). Restaurant Ruby heeft een aantal van deze populaire gerechten in haar assortiment en deze worden als Plate Service geserveerd.
Naast de reguliere kaart hebben we ook specials; een kaart met seizoensspecialiteiten of andere traditionele gerechten omdat ze gewoon lekker zijn.

The food is so good that we didn't take any photo as we are very hungry. It is very popular as people lining outside for a table. The staff is also very nice.
