 Nice shoes. It is a pity that the staff is not very service-oriented and refers you to the internet shop.

The product selection reflects modern trends and the materials may last you a few years. Donβt expect to find rare or durable goods but you can get a reliable pair of shoes that will help you fit in right now.
The shop keepers were amiable and gave me enough space to shop but also indulged in a bit of small talk.
I recommend the location in de Pijp to avoid the Leidseplein crowd.

β β β β β BUYER BEWARE! I bought shoes and as I'm traveling I asked for no box. One hour later I decided to return the shoes because I decided they were not my style. I was told I couldn't return them because I didn't have the box. I wasn't told this at checkout. The receipt says returns must be done in original packaging but that's only in Dutch and the package I took the shoes out of the store in was paper wrapping, so that was the original packaging that I bought them in and returned them in within an hour of purchase without ever wearing them. The store still had the original box but refused to take my return, even for store credit!! They still flat out refused to help this customer and thereby lost one forever in the process. I will never wear these shoes and now they will go to total waste due to a very unfriendly policy for customers. Even if this is their policy, given my circumstances and the fact I had just bought them and they still had the box at their store, they should have done the right thing by this customer. But nope they wouldn't budge.
So if you do go to this store 1) be sure you really want what you're buying, 2) take the box, and 3) prepare for getting no customer support in any assistance you may need. There are plenty of good shoe stores in the area with friendly customer service, go to those instead!
