I would recommend this shop to anyone wanting to get a tattoo. The shop itself is beautiful, the artists are very kind and understanding, i really enjoyed the vibe. Thank you, Rowan; for your kindness and my awesome tattoo. I will definitely come back in the future! X

I can highly recommend the studio, everyone was super nice and helpful. Natalia the artist I went to really made me feel comfortable and safe.

I would absolutely and enthusiastically recommend Salon Serpent Tattoo Studio to anyone who is looking for a chill, super friendly, professional, and talented group of artists when in Amsterdam. I was briefly in the city for 2 days, and not only were they ultra accomodating with fitting me in on such short notice, but made the entire experience a total delight. I was fortunate enough to work with Aurelien. I had sent a short description of the general idea I had, and he came prepared with a wide range of options. He was very open and super easy to work with. I was most impressed with his keen eye for detail and delicate/sensitive line work. The shading is already stellar, and I can't wait to see how it looks once fully healed. Everyone I spoke with was so kind and fun and welcoming - no attitude or awkwardness, just quality people and quality work. As of now, this is definitely my favourite tattoo. Should I get another, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Salon Serpent or recommend it to anyone in search of a great place to get inked. Perfect way to spend a rainy day! Thanks again! It was my honor to visit/work with such a thoughtful and skilled artist. It's always clear (and refreshing) when one is passionate about their work and takes pride in it. On their website its said, that according to a personal description a custom made tattoo will be created. I had given a good description, but Rowan (the artist) himself was not really prepared with any design for the appointment and I had to work out a design with him on the spot. Also I arrived punctualy, but had to wait 30min and further there were other people sheduled just after me who had to wait as well. All in all it didn't go as smooth as I hoped it would for my first tattoo. But also I want to mention the communication with the shopmanager was good, the salon itself was really good located and had a cool ambiente too.

I loved every part of getting tattooed here!! I was a bit nervous at first but felt super comfortable as soon as I walked in. I got tattooed by Natalia and she was amazing!!!! She really brought my vision to life and made it better than I could have ever imagined. Loved her to bits and pieces :D this was my very first tattoo and she made sure to ask if I was okay all the time. The shop keeper was also a gem! Everyone was extremely kind and now I know where to recommend to all my friends!!

Got two tattoos here. One was done by a guest-artist and one by Rowan. Had a great Time both times. Rowan did a great job, he took time to talk about the tattoo motive and to discuss the different variations of the motive he prepared. I was very pleased with the result! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere in the shop is very nice.

I can highly recommend this tattoo studio. I got two small tattoos done by Natalia and the quality is great. She made sure that I was feeling comfortable, provided good feedback on the position and size of the tattoos, and took the time to make small adjustments to the design. The tattoo studio is clean and feels very welcoming. A small drawback is that they are very limited in the credit/debit cards they accept. So better to check with them first if you should bring any cash. However, they are aware of this and are already working on a solution.
