In Nederland deden we aan Darinkdelven, en nadat dit verboden werd, is er in Delden, Boekel en nog enkele plaatsen in Nederland geboord naar zout. In dit museum ruim aandacht voor zout, zoutwinning door de geschiedenis heen. Interessant en goed gedaan. Salt is very special, we need it and you will have to make an effort. In the Netherlands we did Darinkdelven, and after this was banned, drilling for salt was carried out in Delden, Boekel and a few other places in the Netherlands. Ook is er op de 2e etage een mooie film met ondertiteling. Salt Museum Delden is really worth a visit. It has been quite an experience for me how the salt is formed. There is also a nice movie with subtitles on the 2nd floor.

Je wordt niet teleurgesteld als je naar binnen gaat. Heel informatief. Met korte filmpjes en uitleg en een mooie lange film over de historie. Verder kun je er koffie en thee kopen uit een automaat. Ze hebben ook een hele mooie verzameling vaan zoutpotjes. Very interesting story. Really recommended! Museum year card is also valid! I really enjoyed it. The building looks beautiful from the outside. You will not be disappointed when you go inside. Very informative. With short films and explanation and a nice long film about the history. You can also buy coffee and tea from a vending machine. They also have a very nice collection of vanilla salt pots.

Via video's en ander beeldmateriaal word je door de geschiedenis meegenomen in het verhaal van het zout. Op de tweede verdieping zijn heel veel peper&zout-stellen te bewonderen. Het is geen dagvullend programma, maar met een uur ben je er wel doorheen. Op zolder is de koffie-corner! Nice and informative museum about salt production and use. Through videos and other visual material you are taken through history in the story of the salt. On the second floor you can admire a lot of salt & pepper sets. It is not a full-day program, but you can get through it in an hour. The coffee corner is in the attic!
