Gelegen in de beroemde Amsterdamse wijk "de Pijp" is Sari Citra al sinds 1996 het adres om te genieten van gerechten uit de traditionele Indonesische keuken. De eerste 6 jaar in de Saenredamstraat en sinds 2002 in de Ferdinand Bolstraat. Kwaliteit en authenticiteit staan bij ons hoog in het vaandel en daarin onderscheiden wij ons dan ook.

Op slechts een paar honderd meter van de Albert Cuypmarkt is het de ideale plek om tot rust te komen en te genieten van onze traditionele Indonesische keuken. De Heineken Experience ligt om the hoek op 5 minuten lopen en binnen een straal van 10 minuten lopen vindt u het Rijksmuseum, het Museumplein en het Van Gogh Museum. Een dagje Amsterdam beëindigen met een van onze vele gerechten zoals Nasi of bami rames, sate ajam, gado-gado of onze heerlijke en complete rijsttafel "Sari Citra" is een feest. In ons gezellig eethuis heeft u een ruime keuze uit originele Indonesische gerechten die wij op het menu hebben staan. Ieder dag vers voor u gemaakt.

Sinds kort kunnen wij trots zijn op de uitbreiding van onze culinaire activiteiten naar Purmerend. In het winkelcentrum Weidevenne kunt u nu ook bij ons langs komen en genieten van onze heerlijke traditionele Indonesische gerechten.

I reccomend the meals with "Specials" you will see a lot of image illustrations on the walls, this will help you with the decision that to choose.

The food taste really bland compared to other Toko that I've been to. I find the telur sambal very thin and not as spicy as it should be. The bergedil was purely made out of potato without any meat at all. Maybe it's normal for the Toko here as I'm comparing to Indonesia. I went to the Washroom and saw the kitchen, it was very clean so kudos to that! However, it wouldn't be a repeated visit for me as there are plenty of other Tokos around the area.

But they also have wide range of delicious non spicy Indonesian food for those who doesn’t like spicy. The restaurant itself is a typical Indonesian ‘warung’, meaning beside from the menu you can also choose bits and pieces of dish yourself. As an Indonesian living away from home, this is recommended. I’ll come back again. And the lady who served me was very nice and kind.
