★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het Savelsbos is een heel lang en breed uitgestrekt bos, tegen de rand van Maastricht / Heer en Gronsveld, Rijckholt , en nog verder. Hogerop en aangrenzend liggen Cadier en Keer, St.Geertruid en Eckelrade. Een pracht gebied dat je nooit op een dag helemaal kunt verkennen. Er zijn ook verschillende routes in het bos. Als je echt vroeg gaat heb je de kans herten te zien. Een ongerept natuurgebied , met op sommige plaatsen een geweldig uitzicht op het Maas dal.
The Savelsbos is a very long and wide expanse of forest, against the edge of Maastricht / Heer en Gronsveld, Rijckholt, and even further. Higher up and adjacent are Cadier en Keer, St. Geertruid and Eckelrade. A beautiful area that you can never fully explore in one day. There are also several routes in the forest. If you go really early you have the chance to see deer. An unspoilt nature reserve, with a great view of the Maas valley in some places.

Beautiful forest, nice hiking trails. The paths through the meadows around the forest are worth the effort!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het Savelsbos is een hellingbos dat bijna uniek te noemen is, vele paadjes die je vanuit divers perspectief rond laten " dwalen" in dit mooie bos. Mooie doorkijkjes richting Eijsden( Hervé ) Gronsveld en Maastricht.
The Savelsbos is a sloped forest that can almost be called unique, many paths that let you "wander" around in this beautiful forest from various perspectives. Beautiful vistas towards Eijsden (Hervé) Gronsveld and Maastricht.
