Scheer je benen een dag van tevoren en niet dezelfde dag nog, dat bespaart je een heel prikkend bijna brandend gevoel voor als je uit het zeewater komt. ('t is maar een tip voor de dames onder ons) Op de pier op het dek van dat grote gebouw is het uitzicht ook "magnifiek". De boulevard heeft ook een leuke uitstraling veel eettentjes en leuke souvenirwinkeltjes. Het is leuker om te gaan met een luchtbed in de zee maar kijk uit dat je niet te veel met de stroming meegevoerd wordt want voor je het weet ben je aan de andere kant van het strand. Het Scheveningse strand =doen!!
I have always enjoyed going here. Shave your legs a day in advance and not the same day, which saves you a very stinging almost burning feeling when you come out of the sea water. (It's just a tip for the ladies among us) On the pier on the deck of that big building, the view is also "magnificent". The boulevard also has a nice appearance, many eateries and nice souvenir shops. It is more fun to go with an air mattress in the sea, but watch out that you are not carried too much with the current because before you know it you are on the other side of the beach. The beach of Scheveningen = do it !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scheveningen wordt de laatste jaren flink gemoderniseerd en de boulevard netjes opgeknapt, waardoor het er steeds meer als een plaats met allure uit gaat zien. Ook het havengebied is steeds netter en opgeknapt.
Al met al een aanrader op het parkeerbeleid na, wat door de gemeente overduidelijk als melkkoe wordt uitgebuit. Totaal niet tourismevriendelijk als je het mij vraagt en gewoonweg erg jammer.
In recent years, Scheveningen has been thoroughly modernized and the boulevard has been neatly refurbished, making it look more and more like a place with allure. The port area is also getting neater and better.
All in all, highly recommended except for the parking policy, which is clearly exploited by the municipality as a cash cow. Totally not tourism friendly if you ask me and just a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like tourist beach places with restaurants and activities this is the place to go. If you like the peace of the sea and for Zen then it is better to walk a but further and find the quiet in the dunes and the sound of the washing sea. So beautiful!!
