Wonen in de strandtent
In het begin woonde de familie in de strandtent. Dit klinkt ideaal maar het is toch raar om je douche te delen met de dagjesmensen op het strand. Door de jaren heen is er veel veranderd. Het grote terras heeft veel metamorfoses ondergaan. De trends veranderde en ondernemers proberen daar goed op in te spelen. Het terras ging van open naar stukken overdekt met markiezen, van kleine bandjes overdag tot grote feesten in het weekend. Van grote springkussens voor kinderen naar een leuke afhaaltent. Van halve ligstoelen naar zonnebedjes , van zonnebedjes naar veel eetgelegenheid en van veel eetgelegenheid naar loungebanken en vuurtjes. In de loungebanken wordt nu elke zomer erg diep weggezakt onder het genot van een lekkere (virgin)cocktail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place looks comfy and nice, personnel is kind. However the food isn’t too good. Chicken very dry, extremely salty fries. They “offer” you mayonaise and ketchup but charge €1,85 each afterwards.
Overpriced for the service and quality you get, especially compared to other places next door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our go-to place to relax late evening. Awesome atmosphere, nice lounge music. Our hosts for the week we stayed, Mike and Mauritz, are the icing on the cake. Nice chats and prompt service. Finger food was good. See you again in March ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there on a rare warm September evening as this was the only place with no reservation needed. The service was very slow but the waiter warned us beforehand, the poor fellow was working a 14-hour shift. The cocktails were decent, prices reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place while we were wondering at the beach and we saw it from the pier. Later, we went to this place for some late night drinks and guess what? We loved it. The best thing was the vibe: calm and serene. Moreover, it was not crowded at all, the staff was very friendly and reasonable prices.
