Koopt 2 harde schijven Exos 7E2 waarvan er 1 defect is. Die moeten in raid op een server draaien. Wel goed begin he. Zeker als je seagate probeert te bereiken. dat kun je wel vergeten. Geen enkel telefoonnummer meer beschikbaar, en als je denkt contact via de website te krijgen? ook dat gaat niet lukken. Nee blijft over een contact formulier waarbij men verteld dat deze niet eerder dan de volgende dag wordt beantwoord. Jongens dit ga je niet menen he. Dit was meteen de laatste enterprise schijven die we aanschaffen van Seagate. Service lijkt op de website goed geregeld, totdat je ze nodig hebt.
Purchases 2 Exos 7E2 hard drives, one of which is defective. They must run on a server in raid. Well good start huh. Especially if you are trying to reach seagate. you can forget that. No more telephone numbers available, and if you think you will get in touch via the website? that won't work either. No remains about a contact form where it is told that it will not be answered until the following day. Guys, you're not going to mean this. This was immediately the last enterprise disk we purchase from Seagate. Service appears to be well arranged on the website until you need it.

Top service! M'n portable HDD met daarop heel veel foto's en video's kon ik niet meer benaderen. Na veel dingen geprobeerd te hebben heb ik me gewend tot Seagate. Het contact was meteen goed; zoeken naar een oplossing. Eerst geprobeerd met speciale recovery software de gegevens boven water te krijgen maar tevergeefs. Uiteindelijk de schijf opgestuurd naar Seagate voor verder onderzoek. Na 1,5 maand kreeg ik het goede bericht dat de gegevens succesvol zijn veiliggesteld en geplaatst op een nieuwe HDD. Deze heb ik inmiddels ontvangen en al de gegevens zijn gelukkig terug. Blij! :-)
Top service! I couldn't access my portable HDD with a lot of photos and videos on it. After trying many things I turned to Seagate. The contact was immediately good; searching for a solution. First tried with special recovery software to retrieve the data but in vain. Finally sent the drive to Seagate for further investigation. After 1.5 months I got the good message that the data has been successfully secured and placed on a new HDD. I have now received this and luckily all the data is back. Pleased! :-)

data recrvery was not possible in this lab - they damaged 2 platters in my harddrive - other lab restored almost 85% of important data

Callous customer care service, zero transparency, indefinite turn around time, zero expertise at data recovery.. I couldn't find anything positive. I deeply regret buying seagate products. Pathetic service!

My experience with the Netherlands lab has been smooth and swift, and all my data has been recovered. I contacted the warranty department after my 2TB FireCuda SSHD failed after 7 months of use. Based on my limited knowledge, self-diagnosis and googling, I believe it could've been an electronics (PCB) issue, as I could not hear any mechanical movement all the sudden, and I tried several external SATA cases, which I knew were functional. I had lost a big portion of unbacked-up data, and Seagate offered to perform the recovery in within my warranty, in their Netherlands lab. The communication with them was fast and direct, and the employees were very polite and helpful. I always carefully read their instructions and was specific about what kind of data was lost - make sure you are too! I sent the drive via UPS. It took them less than 10 working days to fully recover my data (around 1.7 TB), and send it back on a 2TB Backup Plus external drive, with a decryption code. Very easy and straightforward process. I was thrilled to receive my data back! Lesson learned - backup your stuff daily!! Otherwise, I have been using 3 other external 5TB Seagate drives, one of them for more than 2 years of daily use, and they have been working fine. Thank you Seagate!

Contacted Seagate warranty department about a 2 year old Ironwolf 6TB hard drive (3 year warranty) that had 1TB of inaccessible data on it. Was sent from Australia to the Netherlands and back within a month, for free. With their best efforts of trying to read the data and replacing the drive head, none of the data was recovered due to scratches on the platter. Don't know how the drive head malfunctioned in the first place. Received two identical model drives as compensation from the warranty department. Buy SSDs and back up everything!
