A	Alfons Hentemann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am Donnerstag den 17.5. habe ich telefonisch einen Tisch für 3 Personen für Sonntag den 21.5.2017 bestellt wurde auch von der Dame bestätigt mit dem Zusatz - Man würde sich auf uns freuen- was ich bestätigte. Somithin habe ich meine Gäste aus Geldern angerufen, dass wir den Tisch bekommen haben. In großer Vorfreude bei schönem Wetter das Frühstück genießen zu können, sagte man im Haus Horst , man wüsste nichts davon, worauf ich bat, im Buch nachzusehen, wo unser Name auch aufgeführt war, natürlich für uns unverständlich und für das Haus Horst beschämend derart unflexibel zu sein, keinen Tisch für 3 Personen doch noch organisieren zu können . Meine Gäste und ich sind maßlos enttäuscht von ihrem Haus und versichere, dass zu keiner guten Empfehlung mehr kommen wird. Auch im Internet werde ich über diesen mehr als peinlichen Vorfall berichten. Ich bedauere, keine besseren Zeilen schreiben zu können, da ich auch aus der selbstständigen Gastronomie komme. On Thursday, May 17th I have ordered a table for 3 people for Sunday, May 21st, 2017 was also confirmed by the lady with the addition - one would look forward to us - which I confirmed. Somithin I called my guests out of money that we got the table. In great anticipation to be able to enjoy breakfast when the weather was nice, they said at Haus Horst that they knew nothing about what I asked to look in the book, where our name was listed, of course incomprehensible to us and shamelessly so inflexible for Haus Horst to be able to still not be able to organize a table for 3 people. My guests and I are extremely disappointed with their home and I assure them that no good recommendation will come. I will also report this more than embarrassing incident on the Internet. I regret not being able to write better lines because I also come from independent gastronomy.

Wir waren damals, in Kalkar, des öfteren da - sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter, mit Kindern, mit Hund, mit Familie oder Freunden: Es war jedes Mal schön! Der Kuchen stets qualitativ hochwertig, wunderbar im Geschmack und (worüber sich die Kinder am meisten freuten:) die Stücke sooo groß! Die Mitarbeiter stets freundlich , die Außenanlagen gepflegt. Die Kinder, der Hund und ich freuten uns immer am meisten über die Esel und anderen Tiere auf dem Gelände. Ob sie noch dort sind kann ich allerdings nicht sagen. Ich kann das angegliederte Café im Rittersitz auf jeden Fall guten Gewissens als Ausflugsziel im Rahmen einer Wandertour oder Radtour oder dergleichen empfehlen. The cafe and the grounds are wonderful. Back then, in Kalkar, we were there a lot - both in summer and in winter, with children, with a dog, with family or friends: it was always nice! The cake is always high quality, wonderful in taste and (what the children were most happy about :) the pieces sooo big! The staff always friendly, the grounds maintained. The children, the dog and I were always happy about the donkeys and other animals on the grounds. I do not know if they are still there. In any case, I can recommend the adjoining café in the knight's seat with a clear conscience as an excursion destination in the context of a hiking tour or bicycle tour or the like.
