β β β β β We had an amazing experience in the meseum with with most pieces displayed discribed in detail their personal history.
Really enjoyed the vibe and relaxed browsing. The interactive things also adds to the fun.
Overall i would really recommend visitinf this museum if you are remotely interested in ships or ship wrecks.
Also looked like an amazing place for kids to play in their faily large childrwn area.

β β β β β A great place to see. Makes you wonder, what kind of things people lose in the sea. Good for children, with a playground and a small picnic area. Souvenir shop and a snack bar.

β β β β β This museum is all about telling the story of the beachcombers of Texel. There are loads of things to see and read for all ages. The story touches on all aspects of beachcombing including legal and environmental issues as wel as the sheer joy of finding unique treasures on the beach. I spent a couple of hours here, but felt like there were still more stories to discover in between all the junk.
