A	Angelo Suzuki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place to have some meaty and carb-high meal before or after having drinks. Has a very friendly staff. Tip: ask for some bread with sauces, but don't overdo the dark red one, it is very spicy.

H	HR HR on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dine here frequently and always enjoy the fresh food served. Excellent Turkish food on offer and a great service overall. Wide range of selections, and each is equally delicious. It's a brilliant easy spot to fuel up if you are staying in and around Amsterdam. Staff are always friendly, esp the owner. Always accommodating to changes to a dish (if required). My usual is the adana kebab which always goes down perfectly. Lots of other options also, at a good price too. The atmosphere is pleasant too!
R	Ralph George on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting Mesut for as long as Mesut has existed. The tent has recently had new owners and chefs. Mesut used to be one of the best grill restaurants in Amsterdam for me. It has been that way for years and the reason that I was a guest here every week. Until yesterday. I sat on the terrace with my wife and child. The waiter arrived, dragging a smoke of pungent cleaner with him. When the food arrived, it turned out that everything smelled of cleaning agent: the sauce bottles, the eating utensils, the plates and even my sandwich. I went in and said I really couldn't eat my sandwich. However, years of loyalty to Mesut was "rewarded" with rudeness. The manager stated that I wanted to eat for free, that the detergent smell was rubbish, etcetera. I asked the waiter in front of the manager if he was spraying with detergent all day long. The waiter nodded. However, the wife and child had eaten their portion. At checkout, my untouched sandwich was simply on the receipt! I then let the best man know that he could choose: either I would pay nothing or he would immediately take my sandwich off the bill. He wisely chose the latter option. After years of being a customer here, I will close this chapter. Mistakes can be made anywhere, but the rudeness of a restaurant in a complaint is beyond the limit of decency and time to find another restaurant. Sefa can be found in the same street. Pay a visit soon, because the food is still a bit better than old-style Mesut. It is a pity that a tent can degrade like this when it changes owners.

T	Taeho Kang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for kapsalon but ended up ordering a kebob instead. Didn't really matter because it was delish. Also they give you bread with sauce. Don't be afraid to try the spicy one. Absolutly fiiine.

Have you ever had a kebab served to you, with: - grinded meat of cow ankle (or whatever it is) - tomato - cucumber No? Wow. Neither have I. Well enjoy this place's kebab with ingredients described above + 5 sauces that you get to put on top yourselves! Not happy? I guess you should be happy that the bathroom is ONLY 50 cents and the meat still has some good ol blood in it because otherwise you might think it's growing off of a tree. I've eaten some kebabs in my life and I'm happy to announce to any future places I might eat at in the future: - This place is rock rock rock bottom.
