There is a demo given on how cheese is made and howdutch traditional wooden shoes (clogs)are made.Claudia does and amazing job with giving the entire demonstration in Hindi. After the demo there is a shop where delicious cheese and fruit wine can be tasted and purchased. Loved my experience here. Highly recommended if you are in Volendam

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real craftsmanship, the clog and cheese making factory run by local family. Had a beautiful demonstration of clog making and narration of detailed process of cheese making. One can buy clogs, souvenirs and cheese. An hour's drive from Amsterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! I originally stopped on a viator 3 years ago. But just took my family back yesterday. You can just shoe up and they offer free tours, explain their cheesemaking process & show you how wooden shoes are carved. You then get sample cheese, wine and cookies. After which you can buy whatever you fancy from the shop. We managed to come between groups so we received personal tour and tasting for the four of us. Highly recommend.

Don't think clogs are made on-site, a lot of gimmicky tourist tat for sale. But for all that it made an enjoyable half-day trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice experience! Highly recommend! you can see how they make zuecos shoes and they explain very well the elaboration of cheese. You can taste their cheese and cookies and also you get an Apple pie whit coffee! I love this place
