★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, relatively cheap drink. Went to see Nymfo in 2016 and the Acoustic was right. I don't quite get why they use volunteer instead of paying the staff in a city where one of the major employer across young people is the University. I guess that way they can invest more on the quality of the events proposed but nowadays jobs ads state CLEARLY that "experience from the academia will not be considered".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to a stand up comedy presentation in this place yesterday, funny but nothing too special. It's a little bit cramped and the drinks were a little to expensive for the quantity. Though I was satisfied with the quantity of emergency exits. It's one of those places that are good with good company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Varied programming in a typical pop venue aimed at a young crowd. The place is located a bit out of the city centre and is run mostly by volunteers which have about a 50% change to be customer friendly and efficient. Expect quality to vary, crowds are mostly 26 and under and the atmosphere can be a bit exclusive of strangers. The place always smells of stale beer if you are into that sort of thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is two stages, a big and a small one. Both are well equipped with decent sound and light systems. There are two bars for each stage. The hallway and the staircase to the second floor that connect the entrance and the stages look nice and new. The place is almost worth 5 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Simplon beds are like prison beds. The building is filthy, noisy and cold. The majority of the staff are ex criminals in a reintegration program. I don't personally have a problem with that at all but be very careful not to leave your phone or laptop unattended. Also make sure you keep your receipt when you pay for a room because sometimes staff members steal from the cash register but this only happens sometimes. If you like to smoke weed then Simplon is the place for you. Simplon has no problems with the consumption of weed, you can even buy it from the staff. If you don't want this then go somewhere else because it's impossible to get away from. It is not allowed to smoke, eat or drink in your hotel room. The showers are too hot.
