★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het is zeer de moeite waard om de 3e zaterdag van augustus het dorp Anloo te bezoeken. Het hele dorp gaat dan terug naar de middeleeuwen. Hou je van gezelligheid en een leuke ontspannen sfeer? Dan moet je hier zeker naar toe!
It is very worthwhile to visit the village of Anloo on the 3rd Saturday of August. The entire village then goes back to the Middle Ages. Do you like cosiness and a nice relaxed atmosphere? Then you should definitely go here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Magnuskerk is very beautifully and centrally located in the village of Anloo in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a very ancient Romanic church - initially built around the year 1100! And before those days, there appear to have been wooden churches in this location. The tower of the church was built in the 12th century and was last significantly renovated in 1894 when it received stair steps on the front. The organ in the church was installed in 1718. A regular touristic event in the church is the reenactment of the Etstoel - an ancient court session.
